The price of every translation depends on the type of text, its length and the deadline.
Rates are calculated according to the number of characters. The number of characters can be calculated from the source text selecting “Word count” from the “Tools” drop-down menu in Microsoft Word.

When asking for an estimate:

• if possible, attach the text to be translated or specify the total number of characters and the kind of text;
• indicate the language into which the text has to be translated;
• specify the deadline.

The interpreter’s work requires, besides a highly specialised university education, an in-depth study of the issues dealt with in each conference.
Investing in a professional interpreter means giving the right importance to the contents of an event, ensuring maximum understanding to every participant.

After accepting a job, my task is to look for detailed information on the conference topic.

When asking for an estimate, please specify:

• type, date and place of the event;
• necessary linguistic combinations;
• subject dealt with in the event (i.e.: medicine, economy, art, ...). The more detailed this information is, the more precise the estimate will be;
• duration of the job.
